KK has been telling me that she misses certain people in her life. I offer her the phone to call them and she says no. What can you do, I have explained that sometimes things change and sometimes you miss certain things. I think I am going to see if she wants to record a video, maybe they will do the same thing. The phone rang one day, I picked it up and it was Santa calling for KK. She hung up before she told him what she wanted. I got the email back from the company with the recording and you hear the phone hang up. It was so funny. What kid does that?

Little K's school is going good, I tried to upload some of her work. She is writing coloring making sentences, reading, doing math, telling time. Wow! Today she told me how to make butter like the pilgrims. Baby D - a new tooth is coming through, that will make 3. She can say mom, day, hi, Bye, love you, milk, doggie, kitty. so cute. Mom and dad are doing ok as well -

good and bad

I recently heard the saying if you don't support me in the hard times dont expect to be part of my life in the good times. I think everyone since the boom fell has had the good times and the hard times. I can think of the supportive people and the ones with thier hands out. I am sure you can too. Nows the time to be smart with what we have. Listening alot to Dave Ramsey and trying to print off all the organizational paperwork I can. Pinterest has alot of these. From the emergency binder for the home with all the documents you would need if you had to leave in short notice. (i have alot of receipes from pinterest too--- there are some good ones) Every month has to start with a monthly budget on paper, before anything is paid or made. Every penny is accounted for.... yikes. no overspending at the grocery store or anywhere. Not on the budget doesn't happen. I am looking forward to finishing the year this way and see if i can turn the hard time into a good time.

Christmas

we survived the holiday. We visited my Uncle Hal and Aunt Tina on Christmas Eve, Eve. Then to Jan and Janzens on Christmas Eve. Then were invited to Shanna's Parents home with Shanna and Larry, and then to Karen and Bryans house to visit with them and Sandy.
Santa brought Kayleen a BB gun, so daddy looks forward to showing her how to use it.

We are hoping Kayleens behavior will continue to improve. She starts Counseling at school when she goes back in January. There have been so many changes this year, and with Morgan moving to Texas she has another change to adapt to. Delaney is just growing and watching her sister.

I got to speak to my Cousin Ramie today who I haven't spoken with in a while. I almost cried after we talked. I miss my cousins. Talked to my brother Chris and my Nephew Eric and niece Shea Christmas day.

We hope everyone ha a great Christmas, Kayleen called santa yesterday. we have not been good about pictures or seeing santa at the mall. Maybe next year.

still in shock.

It is a shock that i have 2 children. i still sit here amazed at the fact that we have a new blessing in our lives. I never pictured myself having 2 children. Kayleen is an easy kid. With the addition of Delaney, she feels a bit out of place.

I guess its still shock of having another baby, when the other child is 5 years old and independent. But as of late she is not as independent as usual. Hopefully the whole family can make the adjustments of having a new family member quickly. Delaney is a little poop machine. She goes more than I remember Kayleen going. She goes before and after she eats. She still worry's me at night so I am not sleeping as much as I should be at night. I get a solid 3 hrs from 6-9 am and on and off all night.
